Les Hall Posted March 9, 2008 Report Share Posted March 9, 2008 Take out steering bolt Seperate the 2 shafts Stroke the intermediate steering shaft. Back and forth at a medium pace. 8 UR HMI Posted December 16, 2008 Report Share Posted December 16, 2008 i got so excited when i saw this and finally can get rid of that sound, i ran outside like 10 minutes ago and its 2 am here and its 28 degrees and snowing. i had a flashlight socket set, 4 shirts, 2 pairs of pants hunting boots (dont know why), 2 beanies face cover, 2 pairs gloves, thermal underwear and thats about it. i did it in the damn cold and yay!!!!! no more gat ass clank yes there is snow in texas btw. I have been trying to locate my "clunk" for a freaking year! thought i did something when i lowered it. Im actually GLAD to see its a common problem. Ill be taking care of this tomorrow.
