BlackSS04
i was reving my exhaust today for one of my friends, and theirs a damn rattle inside of the muffler. somethings banging around in there. not sure what it is, but it just started today when i was reving. i have no clue what it could be. and i did a wot launch afterwards with the windows open next to a wall on passenger side, and i could definetly hear the rattling, and f**king pissed. any thoughts on what it could be? and i imagine i have to take it to the exhaust shop to get it taken off, right? budhayes3
Sounds like a broken baffle inside the muffler, unless a piece of one of your cat converters broke off and worked it's way into there. Another idea, if there's a heat shield attached to the muffler, you may have a rock stuck between the heat shield and muffler.
Fireman31
My guess is that one of the Cats is coming apart internally, I had that exact problem when I had my GTP. Dealer warranteed it and installed a new Cat.
Krambo
Yea, my bet is the cats came apart. At one time I actually shot pieces of the cat material out the tailpipe.
Holty
my guess would be either a broken baffle or somone tossed a rock into your tail pipe and it worked its way in the muffler.
