jon1178 Posted April 25, 2007 Report Posted April 25, 2007 A 2006 study by Texas A&M University found that the average American walks about 900 miles per year. Another study by the American Beer Institute found that Americans drink an average of 22 gallons of beer a year. That means, on average, Americans get approximately 41 miles per gallon. Not bad! dcairns Posted April 26, 2007 Report Posted April 26, 2007 So if I don't drink beer at all, does that mean I get infinite MPG? 900 / 0 = infinity Quote
Hankg42 Posted April 26, 2007 Report Posted April 26, 2007 Remember, as they say, YOUR mileage may vary! Personally, I think I lower the mileage number a bit (more beer per mile!). Quote
