blackvert Posted May 12, 2007 Report Posted May 12, 2007 Belltech comes with OEM style eyelet bushings...........used them in my 2006 Quote
ZZebes Posted May 12, 2007 Report Posted May 12, 2007 I just ordered a set of Eibach shackles for 2" they look good since i'm putting caltracs in and those have an aluminum bushing Quote
1BAD2K Posted May 13, 2007 Author Report Posted May 13, 2007 thanks for the help guys. i got some belltechs from a buddy for free. they were for 2'' drop so i trimmed on them and made them for use on the second hole from the top. repainted them and stuck em in there. they look like they came like that now, and lowered it right at 1.5'' which leaves my truck sittin dead level. couldnt be happier Quote
blackvert Posted May 13, 2007 Report Posted May 13, 2007 here is a before and after of my RCSB 06 The day I picked it up.... After the shackles....and tailgate decal removal Quote
shakesvho Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 looks the same may just be the angle of the picture, truck looks good Quote
blackvert Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 yeah the angle is off, but the front and rear gaps are even now that there are a few miles on the shackle install.....plus it had the "chevy lean" syndrome Quote
shakesvho Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 it had the "chevy lean" syndrome the lean sucks, hows the ride. Quote
blackvert Posted May 14, 2007 Report Posted May 14, 2007 (edited) the same....just as long as you trim 2 nubs off of the rear bumpstops, otherwise it's a jarring experience. Edited May 14, 2007 by blackvert (see edit history) Quote
AK04SS Posted October 1, 2007 Report Posted October 1, 2007 i'm interested in doing the same thing. i was thinking of goin with the eibach shackles. is the installation pretty hard? Quote
haul@ss Posted October 2, 2007 Report Posted October 2, 2007 i'm pretty sure the install shouldnt be too hard for shackles.. if ya did ya own corsa install, you should be able to do this haha Quote
