packjh Posted May 5, 2007 Author Report Posted May 5, 2007 ive got a new one, i did however read ls1howto and it said to get locktite in red medium strength well the only red i can find is high strength and the blue is the medium which do i use? Quote
Krambo Posted May 6, 2007 Report Posted May 6, 2007 Use the red. I did a "How-2" a while back on the crank shaft pulley pinning (I think it is a sticky in the how-2 section). I am sorry that the pictures are all out of whack but ever since the site upgrade, I can't go back and edit posts FWIW, the past 3 bolts I used had loc-tite on them but I added additional. Have fun with the final TQ of the bolt Quote
