Makdad Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 Hey all I have been reading that alot of you ahve gone with corvette servos for better shifting in the SSS. I am just wondering where is the best place to buy from and is there anything additional I need to buy to do this mod, or are all parts with the servos? ring gaskets and such? Any info would be appreciated. Quote
Black2003SS Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 zippy or ebay. Depends if you want billet or actual vette servo. Vette servos are less than half price of billet, many will argue pros and cons of each. I'm no trans expert. I bought the TCI billet 2nd and 4th servos for around $100. I've seen the vette 2nd servo for $25 on ebay before. Zippy's shift comes with superior servos I think, not 100%. His kit is the best bang for buck and I would have gone that route had I nto already had the TCI servos and transgo kit, would have been cheaper for me. Quote
misterp Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 eBay vendor Oregon Transmission, $16. Or if you want to shop at a brick-n-mortar, http://www.transmissioncenter.net $19. Mr. P. Quote
