BlackSS04
i've had this fuzzy, leaky sound coming from my pacesetters ever since i got them installed. you can only here it when your hittin the throttle. it sounds like a disel truck kind of, and its getting annoying. do you guys have the same sound? i think its because the pacesetters are mild steel and they are thin in diameter. there is no leak down there, so what do you think? BlackSS04
i guess i'll just need to keep my foot down on the throttle more to take away that sound. no problem Edited May 11, 2007 by BlackSS04 (see edit history)
1 Fast SS
I must have got a good set or something (knock on wood) cuz I haven't heard anything from mine. I've re-torqued them too after about every 100 miles. The only thing I hear is my loud a$$ fuel pump singing.
BenKey
If it is a tinq sound you hear, get used to it. Sounds like you have something more. Have you checked the torque on the header bolts? I would suggest a locking bolt.
