Mother's Day plans?

We'll have lunch at my wifes grandfather's house and exchange gifts there. I'll be cooking up some carne asada and chicken.

It's my wifes first Mother's day so my 5 month old daughter went and bought her a Canon digital camera, 2gb memory card, and a Swiss Army case for it. The camera is really small, small enough for her to carry in her purse to take shots when she wants. The dilema I'm having is whether to open it up and charge/set it so she can use it on Sunday or just let her open it up.

As for my mom, she lives in Texas with my dad. I bought her a gift card because she is one of those moms that has everything. I figure, let her get what she wants at Chili's!

Probably just take the wife out for dinner. If she doesn't have to cook, she's happy. :D My mother always says not to get her anything, so I'll just pick up some flowers and a card for her.

My mother-in-law (who's been living with us for the past 11 months and driving me insane) will get exactly the same thing that she has bought for my daughter and wife over the past 20+ years. Not a damn thing. Far as I'm concerned, she's lucky I haven't kicked her old ass out to the street.

Well I got my wife ( her first mothers day ) a canon cybershot ( has been wishing for it ) and some memory. Prolly go out to dinner also. Unfortunatly it will be the first mothers day with out my mother, she had just passed away a couple of weeks ago. I will probably spend a lot of time up at the cemetary and with my father and family.
