Quik
you actually wasted your money. the heads flow less then your 317s. if you wanted a good set of heads to bump your CR and keep the same flow rate then a set of LS6 heads would of been more ideal. i knwo of a set of LS6 heads for sale
nastyss
i bought them for $100 not a waste of money in my book i think their ported to he said their a 205 valve in em what are the stockk ss heads have you actually wasted your money. the heads flow less then your 317s. if you wanted a good set of heads to bump your CR and keep the same flow rate then a set of LS6 heads would of been more ideal. i knwo of a set of LS6 heads for sale
Quik
i bought them for $100 not a waste of money in my book i think their ported to he said their a 205 valve in em what are the stockk ss heads have so you have a set of ported LS1 heads first off which casting? but you have a set of ported ones with a larger 2.05 intake valve for 100 bucks? actually yes dude since a 317 casting out flows either ls1 castings by a good margin. right now with untouched heads the only gain you would have would be going from you 72cc head to a 67cc head which will raise your SCR sligthly but at the cost of losing air flow. where as you could keep the same air flow but gain a lower CC by using a set of 243 castings which will net you 11.1 scr insted of yoru stock 10.1 also if your picky on what octane you use then neither set f heads would be good for you since we all know 91octane is already required and 93 is much perferred for these motors. if you got a good set of actual ported ls1 castings for 100 bucks, then tell us were cause you got a deal but stock castings the are just JoeSmoe ported then i would just pawn those heads off on someone who doesnt know much about our motors. and to have a 2.05 intake valve sounds odd to me especially for the price you paid..
