fast4popper
I have an 18 foot car trailer. flat bed and the paint is falking off like mad from rcok chips, so I am gonna strip it and repaint the thing. What I want to know is I am planning on lining the front end with some bright ass Diamond Plate. how can I keep it shiney without buffing this thing all the time? is there anyway to protect it from dulling? somethign I can do before I put this stuff on the trailer? Thanks guys!!

kissfans03ss
I agree with both ideas but if you want diqamond plate i hear zoop seal is the way to go,i heard it seals metal and you dont have to polish for like a year.
Stitches040
That's what we just did to all of our work trailers. Looks good. How much did this cost?? Roughly ... Thinking of doing the same.
Krambo
polish it, wipe it with acetone / alcohol and then do several layers of clear. Zoop seal was O.K. for me but is not the be all end all for aluminum. Did it on my sleds and they (aluminum) were pitted by the end of the riding year just the same. I would powdercoat the d-plate. AnAmerican Revolution
depending on the size of the trailor if you want to get it line-x'd
Stiff1
There are a few companies out there that make a 304 S.S. Diamond Plate. You won't have to ever worry about polishing it again. Shoot me a PM with the sizes that you need and I might be able to help you out.
