I would go out of my way to make sure everything is prepped correctly and then go with the 3m double sided tape ( like the factory did ). just my opinion though. westside_riddah87 Posted May 15, 2007 Author Report Share Posted May 15, 2007 no worries guys, went back to the dealership yesterday and ordered a brand new factory molding with the double sided tape already on it. I asked why they couldnt just do that from the beginning and they said that they try the adhesive first and that doesnt work than they go to the factory protocol of ordering a new one.
