Lets see. You can setup an account and start selling withing a short time. It's been so long since I've setup an account I'm not sure how long you have to wait to start selling. Listing fees are based on several things including what options you choose. Most fees are based on the listing price. You have to pay a listing fee for ever item you list and a final value fee for every item that sells. If you open an eBay store your listing fees for the store will be different from normal auction listings. eBay will charge you a monthly fee for your eBay store. Paypal fees have changed over time but I believe they charge you a fee based off your monthly sells. If you go over $10,000 per month the fee % will drop. I would say it's worth the time and effort to start a business on eBay. I started selling on eBay years ago and finally started a business around 4 years ago. I've increased sells every year and went over $100K in 2006. I run a drop ship business so I don't have to carry any of the items I sell. I've set it up to be ran by 1 person and it's not that bad. I built an Access DB to fill my orders. I use my eBay business to pay for my mods on the SS. If I had it to do over I would probably be more detailed about things and research more. I'm pretty sure eBay has the all their fees listed on their site. It's been awhile since I've checked on them. They seem to go up every so often. eBay is all about the fees. I can't view eBay from work or I would post some links for you. I say go for it. It can be a pain but it's worth it.
