fxstsmith
Had a new tailgate painted for my truck with some airbrushing done and he airbrushed the SS on the wrong side. He's sending me pics, but I'm nervous I won't like it on the passenger side. He also smoothed the handle and put one of my tattoos down the middle of the tailgate. He says it looks great. I wouldn't hesitate to redo it but it took him 6 months to get this far. Ugghh!

drako
that sucks if you decide to keep it EVERYONE will tell you that the SS is on the wrong side.

DGIEPSS
i think the SS needs to be on the left just my two cents tho
packjh
take the ss off then. cause it doesnt not look good on the right at all
Big O
Looks good man ... what is the story behind the picture?
Spoolin
Leave the SS there because if you flop it the whole "art" part of the tailgate will be unbalanced. The driver's side will have the SS and the picture. Looks good IMO.
fxstsmith
It should be here today, if so I'll have it on by tomorrow. Will take more pics when its on. I think I'm going to leave it the way it is. Love your hood Spoolin!
ImpoSStor SS
I say don't worry about it! Even Chevrolet didn't know where they wanted the SS emblems at first. Here's an early photo released by GM:
detjoe
when I had the impala ss my deer was on upside down. I saw go w/o before you keep it on the right.JMO
Chevrolet SS
Had a new tailgate painted for my truck with some airbrushing done and he airbrushed the SS on the wrong side. He's sending me pics, but I'm nervous I won't like it on the passenger side. He also smoothed the handle and put one of my tattoos down the middle of the tailgate. He says it looks great. I wouldn't hesitate to redo it but it took him 6 months to get this far. Ugghh! I think with the way the airbrush image goes it would look liek shit on the left.... I would just take the SS out of it all togeather
usabodyguard
take it off... it is almost like that lame ass dealership that made a nnbs LT into a fake SS.... well maybe not that bad... but i'd lose it... you are already custom, why leave factor badging on it? people know its an SS... looks custom without it and makes the airbrush stand out WAAAAY more... it becomes a focal piece of the tailgate and not just an addition. bottom line, lose it. I know all...
