Bad Bowtie
So what is the preferred replacement for our 6.0's guys? I've heard of 9-8mm options as well...
Black2003SS
I run the MSD 8.5mm Super Conductors...$60 at summit. I also have the fiberglass cloth material heat shiled sleeves for the boots...had some issues with it them staying on the plug, not sure if it was me or the plugs though...I'm on my second set in 40k miles. CoolBlueSS
I went with Taylor 8mm. They're blue. Seriously though, size wont make all that much difference. Just use a good quality wire.
Black2003SS
I'd like to know if there is a plug wire out there that doesnt have the "straight" boot on the plug end...those are a nightmare with the headers...

gixxerrider
I want to go with a 10.
Rausche
10.5? Psh. Just give up and get 13mm. I think in most of our cases going over 9 is overkill...
detjoe
I have wanted to try the MTI corvette wires. they (I think have the angle plug) and are made to with stand the high heat of headers...I dont know if they fit on a truck http://www.mtiracing.com/artmaverick/misc.parts.html they are a little down on the page andon the left side I dont know if they are long enough??? detjoe
yea, but is it so that they are tighter to the head instead of the header?? or ask them to make us a little longer ones??? they look like a tuff wire.
XSS
I still run the stock wires. Thinking of the MSD's though...
Black2003SS
The distance from the coil packs to the spark plug location is the same on all gen III engines I believe. So if they will fit a LS1 vette, they will fit our trucks.

I think I read that the GM LS2 wires have the 90* boot on the one end but I haven't seen a set in person to confirm.

12'SROCK
I went with Taylor 8mm. They're blue. Seriously though, size wont make all that much difference. Just use a good quality wire. the XX.XXmm number is just the size of the jacket (insulator)
