BILLS04SS
Ok guys I'm looking at replacing my recently purchased jetboat 454 motor this winter with something much better and faster. xlr82sxs
i would go with the aluminum block.. not only to save a little on weight, but they run cooler in water-cooled applications. which in return means more consistent power..
Black2003SS
World Products makes a fantastic motor....for drag racing...not for marine use. Marine motors and car motors must be set up differently, including the carb. I would contact World Products and ask about marine specific use before pulling the trigger. You dont want one back fire to put your jet boat at the bottom of the lake.

Badkarma
world engines look good on paper, but I have heard many horror stories about the motors not being in spec. Then to top it off, world fighting ppl every steep of the way when it comes to the warrany. I dont know if they do marine engines, but this place is by far the best place to get a crate motor, many ppl in the camaro board I belong to have nothing but good things to say about them. Witch is more than they say about world motors Edited June 8, 2007 by Badkarma (see edit history)
