nuzman
This picture is huge, but the topic in interesting. By '09 when the convertible comes out I will need another vehicle. What to buy, what to buy...
rivierakid55
well since there are no plans for an ss until at least 09 id say you should buy the camaro!
Black2003SS
The 09 Camaro SS is slated to have at least a 485-505hp version of the 427 LS7 (May be L92 based by then, but the target power is near 500hp nonetheless)...FYI...reliable sources that I can not disclose. GM will not lose anything to Ford...Also, the 6 speed auto may be available in it as well.
misterp
Well I didn't think anything of the coming Camaro until I saw the concept in person, and I was ready to take one home - a very sexy vehicle. That is assuming that the production vehicle will be faithful to the original show car. Mr. P.
Z4pp
Im sure the Camaro SS or z28 will have 430 hp, with the new LS3 engines coming out in the new corvettes :] 430 hp is good enough for most people imo. :]
Black2003SS
Z28 will be over 400hp...SS will be 485+

rivierakid55
im such a hater i guess. its a nice car but aesthetically the challenger is far and away a better looking vehicle.
Black2003SS
And the Challenger may not even make it to production now with the sale of the Chrysler division. It hasnt made it off of concept and paper...

Rausche
I've already got the money all saved up to buy one. I'm not going with the convertible, but I am going to get every other bell and whistle i can... I'm also waiting until '09, however... They need a little time for the obvious bugs to be exposed, and hopefully they don't stray too far from that gorgeous show car...
