gsgman6969
At WOT I get a reading of 10:1 or richer, meter stops there.I have a Wipple SC that came with a Predator tuner.I've had the guy at Diablo tune it twice, and I cant go any leaner with the Predator tuner, no more adjustment. Can I use my Crane tuner on top of whats already in there? Not to happy with the tunes I,ve got from Diablo, but I can't find anyone else in the Ft. Laud., W. Palm , Miami Fl. area.Does any one know where I can get a tuner in Fl. that can be trusted? Thanks for any help you can give me
misterp
Yeah that's bad - do you actually see soot coming from the tailpipe? Overfueling like that will ruin your engine. AFA tuning software no it doesn't work like you describe, you can't "stack" tunes atop each other; the tuning software will wipe the PCM calibration clean and lay down it's own settings. On a supercharged application I would not use any over-the-counter tuning software, I would get a face-to-face dyno tune from a reputable tuner; I'm sure someone else here will chime in with some recommendations in the south Florida area. BlackSS04
i live in south florida, and i couldn't find one worth a damn. so i choose to go the mail order tune route and i couldn't be happier with it. i got the tune from charlie wheatley and it did wonders. with the mail orders, you can either send them your pcm to have it tuned, or you can buy a seperate tuned pcm core off them if you wanna spend a little more $. im sure there are tuners down here, its just a pain in my ass tryin to find em. good luck Edited June 9, 2007 by BlackSS04 (see edit history)

Mr. P. ps - welcome to the forum Totally agree. To be running that rich, I would guess there is a gross miscalculation somewhere in your tune (i.e. injector flow rates are off). I have a hard time believing that the stock tune from Wipple would be that rich. Yes, I woud think they would be on the rich side but not into single digits. You are using 93 from the local pumps correct, no race gas or methanol? BTW, what injectors are you running? Start off with a conservative mail order tune until you can tweek later on the dyno/street with a good tuner. Better yet, invest in some logging software. Run a few scans and send them to your tuner. After a few trials, you will be good. Welcome to the site!!

Ya I'm running 93 oct although a couple of months ago I mixed a tank half and half with 110 oct.My cats are gutted and the back two O2 sensors have been deleated.I still have the stock injectors,I am getting ready to swap the fuel pump and the injectors but before I do that I would like to see what it can do with a good tune
