BRAD
Do you have anything done to your truck. I have a cai, throttle body spacer, programmer, and exaust and my fastest time in the 1/8 has been a 9.20.

I have a cai, throttle body spacer, programmer, and exaust and my fastest time in the 1/8 has been a 9.20. Lose the TB spacer, get a cat-back and an in person tune... I'll be you shave .2 off your 60ft, at least...

I have a cai, throttle body spacer, programmer, and exaust and my fastest time in the 1/8 has been a 9.20. I believe it but its hard to compare his time to yours because of one simple fact. Your AWD and us 06's are not. My best 1/8 is 9.667 so far but I can't hook off the line so thats with a little spinning. If I could hook who knows where I would be. Hey Chevcup47 was traction an issue for you?
Chevcup47
well on my first pass my time was a 16.2560 if that says anything about traction. my little brother said i smoked the tires almost half track. and they didnt quit untill i lifted when the truck started headding to the guard rail. brobradh77
weill from that pick it looks like your heating your stock tires before you run That's counter-productive for regular street tires. i just drive around the water and stage and go off idle. Try that next time.
Chevcup47
I was just showing my little brother that my truck could do a burn out as easy as his nova he was running and getting i trouble with. he hasnt got his compitition licens yet so he cant run any faster than a 6.39. and on his second pass he cut a 00 light and said he couldnt waste it and ran a 6.33 on the brakes. withen about 1 min the track official was in our pit asking who was running the nova and said either slow it down or load it up. zippy
That's a poorly prepped track for sure if you're having that kind of traction problem. A stock SSS doesn't make nearly enough power to make for a traction problem. It is good to see you made it out to make some passes though.
