Does an exhaust shop need to do the work? well it aint no simple bolt on. when you get the headers on you need to get flanges welded on to the header collectors, as for what your gonna do after the headers it depends on if you are going to run cats or not? im not running them on my setup. BlackSS04 Posted June 18, 2007 Report Share Posted June 18, 2007 (edited) your gunna need cats because your stockers won't fit back on. i learned the hard way and had to drive around for 2 weeks without cats and this setup and it is unbearably raspy. i couldn't stand it but some people like the rasp. although it did sound amazing at wot without the cats. but you will have 8 inches if you don't cut a little off the collector, and if you do you'll have about 11 inches. 8 inches was enough for me to get two magnaflow 8 in. spun high flow cats and they've been doing there job. they seem to flow very well too.
