Rear Fill

Recommended Posts

I just put in some Kenwood Excelon speakers in the rear doors. WOW, what a difference. I also have some JBL components up front and wasn't planning on doing rear speakers but I heard a truck with some aftermarket rears and I had to get some.

Not a real important post, but just sharing my experience with some rear speakers, they really topped of my stereo nicely.

right on

my buddy put Rockford speakers in his GMC Sierra, made a HUGE difference over the basic speakers. I've never really been compelled to change my speakers, I'm not huge into car audio, the Bose is more than enough for me. If my speakers take a dump on me i will probably upgrade, but for now the stockers will do just fine. Sometimes i wish i had crisper sound, but i will save the money and put it towards performance upgrades :)

I had a big stereo in my old S-10. 3-10" JL W3's powered by a 500/1 and a set of XR JL components powered by a 300/4. After having that stereo I was hooked on car audio. I tried my hardest not to put a stereo in the SS but that only lasted a few months. Than I ended up spendig more money on this system :banghead:

Ahh, whatever. I spend more time in my truck than I do my house, so it was worth it.

Its always good to share experiences like that. I only have subs and am happy with Bose if you fine tune the bass and trebile they siubd pretty all right. But its nice to see what others like for if I do ever change i know where to start looking.
