Badkarma
Well after having the truck for ten months and hating the stock exhaust, I ordered a Corsa sport today. Now I just have to wait for the darn thing to show up. I put it off as long as I could, but I just couldnt stand the lack of an exhaust note with the stock system. then I just couldnt leave well enough alone, so I ordered the GMPP CAI I have had my eye on. Thats gonna take a little bit to install, I'm going to go overboard and jet hot the tube and lid. There is no way that tube will stay cool in stop and go traffic! Besides, I have heard a few ppl complain about the finish on the lid being chipped or not that great. Atleast this way I get jet hots lifetime warranty. Now the wait for the exhaust to show up begines. Now i just need to find a spare pcm to send out for a tune.
huero626
The wait sucks dude, but I'm sure it will be worth waiting when you have exhuast on. When I put flowmaster on my Classic 5.3L it was worth the wait. Pretty soon I will install exhuast on my V-Max, because I can't stand not having exhuast on my truck. Badkarma
Its gonna be nice sportin that Corsa. Everyone, I mean everyone in the area where I live has Flowmaster muffs. Im not against them, I have them on my camaro, but only run through them when cops are around. all other times is the cut outs. Its really going to be nice to stand out and have somthing that sounds a hella lot better on our trucks. Im just so tired of every truck I see having that same flowmaster sound. I just hope I dont start a trend lol

Badkarma
Suprise to me, FedEx dropped of my exhaust today, on a saturday... go figure! Im not complaing though. Got the stock exhaust of in one peice, man that was a pain. Stylin now though, the Corsa has a nice purrrr to it! so glad I went this route. Next on the list... CAI. Got the intake from Pace the other day. Was a little dissapointed in the finish on the tube and lid though. LIttle drip lookin things on the lid. On the tube were there weld is ground smooth, the finish is darker. Good thing I planned ahead of time to send it off to jet hot, or I would be really pissed about the finish. Im going to take some pics of the finish this weekend before I send it out monday, and when I get it back from coating I will take more so we can all see the diffrence.
