Maniac
Andy are these the new style or old style headers?
VettePro
Andy are these the new style or old style headers? Old style. THey are stained, as you can see. They are stainless, so it's not rust. I dropped them off at Xtreme Heat Coatings to be ceramic coated inside and out. Add $125 for the coating. If someone wants them before they're coated, let me know. I'll cover shipping. I'm just curious. What's the big deal with the new style and the old style with the hump? These worked just fine. I never had any leaks or anything. Edited July 30, 2007 by VettePro (see edit history)

The old style require some plug wire "tricks" to keep them from getting eat up. I've got the old style and no complaints from me about performance. A fellow member gave me 2 plug wires with 90 degree tips so they would not touch the headers and they work great.

rivierakid55
easy to change wires. like jeremy said, i sent him the two wires dyantech sent me to clear the funky bend on the drivers side. i cut my own so it wasnt an issue. almost 10k miles later and ive had zero issues with my old style humpy headers.
