GCSurfer
I'm looking at a couple sets of 22"s but not sure what offset i need to go with. I have a 05' Extended Cab, will soon have 2" drop shackles, and I want to run a 305/45 tire. Anyone know what offset I would need with out having to roll my lip/fender... Thanks Edited August 1, 2007 by GCSurfer (see edit history)

GCSurfer
I won't have but 2" shackles in the back. Just wondering if that tire size may look to skinny in the back...

Thanks We just went over this topic this week. 305/45 might be too tall, the stock size tire is 32.25" tall and I would not get a tire any taller than that. Mr. P. AUTOGUY
I am running a 285/45/22 and it is the closest size to the original 20" Tire in a 22". The 305/45/22 will be a bit too tall especially lowered. A lot of the guys are running a 305/40/22, but they are a smaller diameter than the original. The 285/45/22 is the best looking/fitting tire for a 22" SS that is lowered IMO.
GCSurfer
I already have my rims and tires on order, they came in last week but someone at the shop sold them a day before I was suppose to pick them up. So I have to wait 3 weeks because they are on backorder; should have them in about 2 weeks. I went with 305/40 saw them in person and also getting a really good deal on them.
