sub idea

Recommended Posts

ok

i dont want a stealth sub. i do, for the most part, like the bose sub.

i am putting a d3 in the SS, and I have a left over earthquake amp from my old truck.

now, i could mount the amp behind the rear seat, and i was looking at people who mounted amps in the back seat, under the passenger's legs.

could the same idea be done behind the rear seat to mount a sub?

what i mean is, could one cut material away from the back of the backrest of the rear seat, to give you more clearence for a sub??

i am trying to find a way to re use this amp, cuz it really was bitchin

i dont think i can use this amp on the factory bose, instead of the bose amp, can i?

i would look into the pioneer or the new JL or the kicker flat subs. they dont sound to bad. we did one in a viper and it jammed pretty hard. just a thought and this for sure would fit behind that seat. maybe even do 2 of them? mount the amp between them... just thoughts, OR if done right, you could mold into the rear doors and make an enclosure, i have seen this done and it was a great idea, just bad exacution. hmmm i think i need to buy a few more trucks and start playing around
