SS_bnoon_SS
This CAI offers quite a bit more surface area than my other ones have, plus the filter is now shielded from underhood heat. I think I'll remove the front half of the plastic though so that I can get the ram effect from behind the headlight. The plastic is 1/4" thick piece of clear plstic cut from an old office chair runner mat. I'll give it a shot of paint and some rubber seals once I'm happy with the other small details. That motor is due I haven't washed or detailed the engine ever since I took the covers off to paint them chrome. When the chrome paint ended up not curing properly, the paint chalked off. I started stripping the paint off to repaint them, but got pissed and smashed the the engine covers by stomping on them, then threw them in the trash. Once the L92 parts get installed it will be clean again. He just got a job. Must be a "good" one ! Yeah, it's a good one. I've ordered about 2 grand in parts in the last few weeks and still have a few things left to buy.
