I'm putting together a "Dog the Bounty Hunter" costume, not the cheesy costume that you can buy for 30 bucks either...

This is the wig I'll start with. My wife will help me turn it into Dog's hair by trimming it and styling it like his

Here's the arm band like he wears

I've also got some black cargo/BDU pants and black boots like his. I'll be making my own bullet proof vest look-alike from materials from the fabric store and an old black leather vest I already own. A couple of really old fire extinguishers will be painted black to be the mace cans like he carries... My wife will be wearing a blonde wig and inflating some large balloons to be Beth.

Do you guys get into the spook season at all?

I'm going with the Clint Eastwood back in the 70's westerns like from The good the bad and the ugly an hang em high. I'm gonna have a short little stubby hand rolled cigarette he always has and a sweet kind of vest he always used to wear. Heres a pic http://img309.imageshack.us/img309/9992/go...yarticle1kf.jpg

I typically set-up a "scary man" with a hockey mask on my front steps 2 weeks prior to Halloween. I then take that costume on during the evening, sit and wait for the kids to take the candy in the bowl. Usually good for a few laughs,...and cries.

What? Nobody is going as the King in 300?

I like Michael Myers ALOT (Halloween). My fiance' even says I should sneek the mask in her purse and then put it on during the new Halloween remake by Rob Zombie. :jester:

I've done something very similar before, except I was sitting on my roof right above the door the kids would come to. I got all of the kids, plus several of the parents, LOL!

My other costume choice this year was a helmut painted Wonder Bread style and a pair of "tighty whiteies" and be Ricky Bobby. My wife didn't like that idea to much...

Me and one of my roommates were just talking about this and we were trying to figure out how the Ricky Booby and Cal Jr would work. We been trying to see if we could find the outfits somehow or have them made.

Another one we came up with was the chicken and the egg. Which came first?

Still many more ideas were pondering.....

i went as Rob Zombie one year when Hellbillie Deluxe came out. A few years ago, I went as Dimebag Darrell from Pantera. dyed my goatee to match. kept it that way for a couple of months.

I've done a few rockers several times. Ziggy Stardust, Chris Fehn (from Slipknot, I grew up with him from elementary school all the way through high school), and James Root (also from Slipknot, also went to highschool with, he was the other tall kid in school me 6'4" and him 6'6"). I thought about another rocker this year since I took up guitar again, but nobody really stands out to me this year, so I went with Dog.
