xlr82sxs
anyone ever dealt with this before? the local chevrolet dealership sent me an authorized buyback notice in the mail, which states: country chevrolet-cadillac is authorized to buy your vehicle at the highest trade-in value possible in conjunction with the purchase of any new chevrolet, cadillac or any pre-owned car, truck or suv in our inventory. the event has been approved for 3 day only! they gave me a pin # and everything.. just curious if anyone has dealt with this notice before and is it worth it? i'm looking to sell the truck anyways and get a duramax or a vortec max. i need the 4wd for the winters here.. xlr82sxs
so, i'm assuming it's just another way for gm to get you to purchase another vehicle from them.. i was just curious if the trade-in value they advertise in this notice is worth the hassle of doing a trade now, or would it be the same if i went a few weeks from now.. KJT13
I'm not sure. whenever I get them, it's the wrong time for me to find out or I'm happy with what I'm driving.
Oo p0op oO
they may give ur "highest trade in value" for ur truck but there just make there money on the new vehicle.....either way they make their cut......
BOB47
Get some version of that at least once a week in the mail. If you're planning on getting rid of the truck anyway, go to another dealer or two first and then compare their price to the "special" deal. In my experience, NO dealer in the world is going to give you what your truck is worth without making it up on the sale of the new vehicle. Fireman31
I used to get those from the dealer I bought my Pontiacs from, they are just a sales ploy to suck you into buying a new vehicle and making you think you got a good deal, just throw them out
xlr82sxs
it's funny though, because i bought my truck when i lived in texas from a totally different dealership.. i've never been to this dealership, so i wasn't sure what to think about this notice.
