brobradh77
I tried searching but coldnt narrow it down. I was curious what y'all used on your truck so when you do a burn out the rubber wont stick. I have heard of maskin tape so you can just peel it off but i think I remember seeing some spray PAM on the clading to keep it from sticking. Just trying to find the easiest way before tommorrow night. Thanks in advance.

Krambo
I have seen: 1. Cooking spray 2. Blue painter's tape 3. A thick coat of wax (not polished off) 4. 3M clear sheets (put them on, peel them off) BTW, if you do get rubber on it, just go to the do-it-yourself car wash and hit it with the high pressure soap. Melts right off.
Stitches040
PAM / Cooking Spray ... But definetly get it off on the way home, don't let it sit on the truck for too long. BTW ... alittle known fact of about Cooking Spray - PAM is what all the NASCAR guys use on the inside of their rims during races. It is designed to work in High Heat conditions, and it attracts the majority of the Brake dust ...

Jonmalibuss
A lot of drag racers use Pledge non citrus based (lemon, orange) anything else is ok!
zippy
I usually leave mine on, but I have found that pam works very well. You can also take fresh wax, rub it on, and place a large sheet of saran wrap over top of it. After racing, remove the saran wrap and you should be just fine.
