Turbocoop
Im about to lower my truck and I just thought Id post this to see if anyone had any extra stuff they wanted to sell. I think I want to go with a 3-4" drop in the back and 2-3" up front. I found some belltech spindles for $225, and shackles are fairly cheap. I really need some hangers and shocks so let me know what you have for sale. Everthing as a kit would be nice... Thanks

I've got brand new belltech nitro 2 drop shocks for the back. I paid over $80 for the pair and I'll sell them to you for $50 + S&H. Belltechs application guide said this was the shock I needed for my 2" drop and it was wrong.

I think there is a post about it. Try the search function or look in the suspension forum.
Turbocoop
I got everything now I think- spindles for the front, shackles and hangers for the back, and shocks for front and back. Is there anything else I need or should get? torsion keys or leaf springs???
rivierakid55
you cant really run drop leaf springs and hangers/shackles...you'll get like 5-6 inches and would need a c-notch. if you've got drop spindles up front really you dont need torsion keys either. you can always turn your existing keys to lower or raise the front a smidge if needed. only other thing is if you get vibration you made need shims. there's a lot of posts about which ones and how to. Turbocoop
Alright cool thanks. I got some energy suspension sway bar bushings too so I should be in good shape with my suspension. Ill look into the shims, can I do an alignment without them? Or are they just if the vibration is too bad???
Turbocoop
I did some research on the shims. I guess I might have to get some but Ill wait too see if the truck rides ok without em. Im used to riding in cars with stiff suspensions

Im used to riding in cars with stiff suspensions I got it all on and it doesnt shake anymore than it did before. I expected it with the aftermarket wheels, they were a bitch to balance. Im getting it aligned saturday, I wish I could do it myself but my shop is too cheap to get the 20" adapters for the wheel mounts...
