Dylan06SS Posted September 25, 2007 Report Share Posted September 25, 2007 New color for 2008, my dad just picked it up and I've got to say I like it a lot more in person than I thought I would. The paint has a lot of flake and some really cool characteristics in different light... definitely a 'must see in person' kind of paint. Only snapped a few quick pics, I'll be detailing it next weekend to get it started off right. He just brought it by to have me remove the GM badges from the rear quarter panels. He special ordered the Ron Fellows ZO6 style spoiler and the wheels which he had chromed before the car showed up. Windows were tinted today along with a borla catback installed. Chevy really did a nice job of refining these, the interior from his 06 to this one is improved IMO, nice carbon fiber pieces and they worked out some of the parts that felt 'cheap' in the last one. Basically an ls2, with the L92 heads (escalade heads), L76 manifold (better manifold than the ls2) and a different cam.
