agreif
Not an SS, but I have the 3M Inviscia shield on mine. You tell me if you can tell it's there. Prevented all those front end rock chips. I can get a close up if you want. Been on there for 4 years now and still doing its job. http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/uploads/...916_7_55162.jpg http://home.nycap.rr.com/agreif/Truck/grille.jpg http://home.nycap.rr.com/agreif/Truck/grille1.jpg http://home.nycap.rr.com/agreif/Truck/truck01ss.jpg

jbaker
Thanks for the pics. I gotta say that a color matched bug deflector, especially on black or darker vehicles, doesn't look bad at all. I'm thinking well worth the protection it gives. Is the clear protective film safe for the painted parts of the grill, too? If so, what about the bumper? Just asking b/c I notice more nicks, etc in the softer plastic parts than on the hood.

Not to bad.... Just make sure it is the one that ends at the fenders. GM also have some that have these little "Wings" that bend down, over the side of the fenders a little. Those look goofy .... Gm Parts Dircet.com $66.91 + S/H.....
