blackss2006 Posted November 25, 2007 Report Share Posted November 25, 2007 I have a 2006 silverado 5.3 with long tube headers,cold air intake, custom y-pipe, and some other little bolt-ons, but it tops out at 98. I am wanting to know if there is any way to get rid of the speed governor without having to get an aftermarket chip? If can answer my question please e-mail me at [email protected]. ccgoodwrench Posted November 25, 2007 Report Share Posted November 25, 2007 when you get the speed limiter rasied, make sure your tires are rated for that speed also, need someone with hptuners or other software.
