Blaker888 Posted December 1, 2007 Report Share Posted December 1, 2007 Ok well my belt started squeakin the other day and Im not sure if its the pulley on the A/c comp. or the actul belt. anybody else have this problem and Ive already used belt dressing! The sound comes back when the truck runs hard! The sound drives me nuts!!!! Hey, U probably need a new belt anyway now, cause belt dressing deteriorates rubber, LOL (yeh the stuff is not good). So a belt might not be a bad way to start. when the truck is running and you spray the belt with some kind of lube, i.e, belt dressing, wd-40, windex , etc..., And the noise goes away, it is the belt.
