Beefer
The grill chrome strip that wraps under the headlights with the bow tie in the middle is starting to blister off from behind on my 03. Anybody else seen this? Is there an easy fix? The bubble is the about 2" in diameter. beefer
AUTOGUY
No Chrome here......or on any SS for that matter. You might want to ask somewhere else.

Rays B4U
I never had the problem on my 96 Tahoe, but I have seen others (at least one) that bubbled. As for fixing it, probably not a cheap fix, but you might be able to strip off all the old chrome and send the grille off and have it re chromed, probably cheaper to check the local wrecking yards for another grille. Bad Bowtie
I'd strip it ALL off and paint it to match ur truck. Chevy didn't offer a 2-wheel drive Dark Grey Met. Silverado SS in 2003... LOL. Edited December 7, 2007 by Bad Bowtie (see edit history)
cwest94
The chrome on the rear bumper of my 1999 K-1500 started to come off with a big rust hole under it, the truck was only 2yrs old when that started.
