misterp Posted December 16, 2007 Report Share Posted December 16, 2007 (edited) I saw the Saleen truck at the Dallas auto show too; GOOD LOOKING truck. There's a lot of good things about this truck. I was very impressed with the aero mods they did, and will use some of those ideas on my truck down the road. The truck also comes with 6-piston brakes, and IMO something similar should have been offered in the SSS as well, I mean seriously it can't be that big of a deal for GM to fit the Corvette front calipers on the Silverado. And I am waiting for the day when someone offers a real sport-tuned suspension system for the SSS, with correctly matched spring rates & shocks. And the Saleen hood is the only aftermarket hood IMO that is truly functional. But even with all that this truck is too expensive. Mr. P. Edited December 16, 2007 by Mr. P.
