blackbeast ss
i think it has to do with the boost and what kind of sc.my magna runs unboosted on normal driving but when i get on it you could hear the boost but i am only boosting 7.5 pound.i think the lt and the cobra run higher boost. Fireman31
the headlights out because the airfilter is directly behind it. thats a sweet video. Open element intakes like my K&N benefit from having the headlight removed by getting a denser charge of air once you get moving. Even though a large amount of air comes in over the headlight, by removing it all together, you get sort of a ram air effect. brobradh77
Vids are awesome. I just dont think mine sounds like that at full boost
Krambo
Vids are awesome. I just dont think mine sounds like that at full boost Trust me, I don't hear that whine either. This was the first time I was able to hear my truck from the outside as an "observer" and I was shocked on how loud it was. In the cab, I hear a little whine that is soon overcome with exhaust notes as I go down the track. If you have an open element airfilter your whine will be louder as well. Mine is enclosed. SSThunder
when I first installed the radix on my ss I heard the whine a lot but got use to it. I've since went to a smaller pulley but I'm "use to" the whine so I don't really notice it that much any more.
Black2003SS
I dont hear the whine from inside the cab either. I have the 3.25" pulley on. I hear for a split second at take off. It is much louder outside of the truck.
brobradh77
I'm running the 2.8" pulley and I have a Volant LT's and a Corsa Sport dumped so I figured it wwas just too loud of an exhaust set up to hear it
