Bad Bowtie
My brother has 2003 GMC 2500 and his OE Bose radio simply "ran out of sound". The display still functions, and the radio switches to and from CD. The CD plays, and you can shuffle through various selections, but there is no sound out of any of the 7 speakers. Has anybody else had this problem? Do we need to find an OE replacement head unit, or is there a seperate AMP maybe that went out? HELP. supersub
did you check the amp fuse under the hood? Edited December 31, 2007 by supersub (see edit history)
Bad Bowtie
Not yet, maybe we will get lucky there. Thanks...
shockx5
I've had this problem a few times. Nothing at all out of the speakers; not even door chimes. I just let the truck sit for a few mins and restart. Only happens once every 6 months though...
