drclaw5
Well I woke up this morning and wasnt planning on dropping $700 on new tires but the truck had a different idea. Was on the way to work this morning and I must have hit something but i dont remember feeling anything but the truck pulling really hard to the right. So i manage to get to work and there is absolutely no air in the front passenger side tire at all! rim is sitting on the ground. So i pulled the tire off and threw the spare on at lunch, mind you its about 20 degrees out and im in dress clothes! lol anyways found a set of 4 Pirelli Scorpion ATR's for a decent price i guess heres the link http://www.us.pirelli.com/web/catalog/car-...ype=CAR-SUV-VAN tell me what you guys think. i will try and get some pics up of the blown out tire. oh yeah the reason i didnt just replace one or two is because i have a plug in the front drivers side and a nail in the back drivers side so with one tire gone and the risk of two others going anytime might as well replace all four! im broke! brobradh77
I dont see a price or tire size your getting. IMO $700 doesnt sound bad considering my Nittos were $195 ea. fro 22" tires

hot rod truck
I have the Scorpion ATR's and they are great tires. Put mine on last year about this time, right before the snow started flying. Soooo much better than the Goodyears and cost less too. Paid $140.00 each I think you'll be pleased

Black2003SS
Good deal if you need them right away, but I hav ebeen looking at the Kumho Ecsra STX in the stock size, best overall rating/value for year round driving and have a summer tread look to them. $114/each at tire rack. Maybe I'm wrong, but htey look like a good tire.

chpspecial
Its not a blow out until you are driving on the highway at speed and then one tire just completly disintegrates, causing $3250 dollars in damages. Folled by another tire 4 day later and a third 2 days after that. That happened to me in my GMC. the second tire didn't do any damage as I was able to catch it in time, but the third did. However since I had ran out of spares I just put the third tire in the location of the first to minimize damages. The tires in question are the BFG All terain T/A. I had placed the order for pirelli scorpion A/T but they did not arrive on time.
