KissMySilvSS
U can get Transgo HD2's for under $100. Finish Line Trans, Oregon Performance Trans, etc.

You might want to look into a overdrive billet servo on FLT website as well... The acc. piston is a replacment for the plastic one in the tranny now... Just strengthening parts, a good idea, But just give FLT a call and tell them what you have they'll give you some good advice.
KissMySilvSS
Those are the right parts that Rockhead, Fireman31, and I have recently bought. Vince @FLT told me here online that the billet servos are overkill (atleast for my application) since I am not pushing out big HP (over 500). I would just go with the Vette 2nd gear servo like you have a link to. You can go ahead and order 2nd & 4th gear billet servos from FLT, but you are going to be paying a lot more with not much benefit unless you plan on building big HP. But I guess any insurance is good insurance, so who knows. I just didn't feel like I needed them so I went the Vette servo route. The reason why Zippy's kit is more than the Transgo kit is because Zippy's kit comes with billet servos whereas the Transgo kit comes with none. keebler85
i used this "search" button that everyone always talks about and i came across a long post by Mr.P.....as i read on i came to this "(4) Add a billet 4th gear servo - installing an aftermarket billet 4th gear servo will greatly improve upshifting into top gear; when shifting into 4th at WOT this servo will grab 4th about as hard as the OEM tranny grabs 2nd. This is a very welcome improvement for N/A trucks, and totally necessary if you are making FI power in top gear." not saying that he does not know what he is talking about but i thought everyone said just go with the vette servo and not the 4th gear servo?? If you plan on installing a Radix or turbo that 4th gear servo is a good idea, but if you are just beefing your trans up a bit and plan on staying NA the Vette 2nd gear servo is more than enough. Sonnax billet 2nd and 4th gear servos are overkill unless you plan on making serious power, say 450hp+ at the wheels.
