Slp Cold Air Intake Question....

Black Beast

Recommended Posts

I just bought the SLP cold Air Intake, it has a big circular hole in the bottom that looks stright down into what looks like a perfect spot for a ram-air. I have looked everywhere for a scoop, but it looks like no one sells one for the SLP. Anyone have an idea? Thanks

it is worth it but a dyno cant prove it because the ram air dont take affect until high MPH

i agree

i would say more at high speed...the fans at the dyno only feed a consistent flow of air through out the rpm range while at higher real life speeds the flow of air is actually being "rammed" more and more as speed increases.

Using that hole with some sort of ram air has to be worth something and better than just a huge hole in the bottom of the box. I went to Autozone and bought a flexible tube and adapted it with a plumbing coupling from the hardware store to my Outlaw. I then routed it to the passenger side brake duct. It works great and stays out of the way.
