Chevyman03SS
Should you put never seize on header bold HEAD Flange bolts and collecter bolts?????
detjoe
I thought the header bolts into the head were surposed to have med locktite, and the rest some anti-sieze would not hurt. Just make sure you tighten them in stages and recheck them after a good heat cycle, and (Per Mr. P) tighten them from the center out on the header flange. Chevyman03SS
Cool just wanted to make sure THANKS !!!!!
xlr82sxs
you'll be plenty fine without loctite.. just make sure to check your torque specs are correct. reason i say this, is if you ever want to sell the headers you'll have a helluva time getting the bolts to back out. and possibly risk snapping a bolt off inside the head. i've never used it and haven't had any problems.. detjoe
I was thnking the same thing on the bolts, even for just tightening them. If the locktite has set how can you tighten them up any. ThunderSS said he read it in the service manual??
