Radiator Drain

Hey sorry for the dumb question. I'm trying switch out my T-stat and am running out of daylight (quick) so I think I have found the drain plug for the radiator but I have no idea to open it. I can't really get my fingers on it well enough to twist it anyway. any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

just pull the t stat out and let it drain that way...thats how i did it.

:withstupid: mee to and if you fast enough you wont spill that much fluid out. oh and do not remove the overflow tank cap, this will allou vaccum to hold in the water some what in the radiator

yeah thats a good trick too :thumbs: . but if you're planning on running new coolant it won't matter.
