scooter3
Well I got my new intake installed. I went with the AEM Brute Force CAI. I had used K&N before so I thought I would try something different. Ordered it through Real Truck. Worked with Nick. Really nice guy and got me a great price. Next order of business is my exhaust. Took it for a little spin and there does seem to be a little increase in HP. Before After The carnage

chpspecial
You wont be dissapointed, I have logged many different types of intakes and the AEM is by far the best out there. I haven't logged an outlaw though.

ssaman
Looks good man! I just put a K&N on mine to replace my p.o.s. Airaid. I felt a HUGE difference! It was either K&N or AEM for me. Hope you like it man!

packjh
I have the same one.. The only thing i dont like is the radiator hose against the intake tube... 1. it causes extra heat transfer into the tube 2. Im scared its eventually going to chaff thru the tube and spray coolant everywhere...

scooter3
Thanks all. I think I might move that hose underneath. Have only driven a few times since install, but I can notice a difference in how the truck reacts. Better throttle response and seems to pick up faster. I can't really hear any "sucking" noises which is fine I guess. More mods on the way!
xlr82sxs
i've been thinking about getting an open element cai to replace my volant.. the only thing i don't like about the aem is the metal intake tube. nice pics.
fox_forma
i use to run an AEM and I def noticed a SOTP increase but also noticed no matter how easy I drove it I lost mpg's with that intake for some reason. Switched back to a Volant and my mpg's went right back up.
