misterp Posted April 3, 2008 Report Share Posted April 3, 2008 For that price you might be able to find someone that can mod a GM rear-view for you. Another idea would be to have a round guage in the a-pillar that was the V1 interface, that would be cool. Get either the V1 or the Bel STi, the Escort X50 and Bel Vector 990 are a distant second, everything else is not worth the money IMO. Mr. P. The mirror contains only the Concealed Display not the Valentine One Radar Locator. You will also need to use the Direct-Wire Power Adapter (V1 item 20305) that comes with the V1. I have a Escort 8500 red that I got a nice discount on at bestbuy because a friend of mine worked there. The thing has never failed me. I have never been pulled over with it and it has saved me roughly around 6-7 speeding tickets in the past year. It gives good warning for cops in just about any sitution, over hills, around bends, city driving, highway driving, racing... Overall I really like it.
