sonickoolten Posted April 7, 2008 Report Share Posted April 7, 2008 (edited) ok well i got my cai and started installin it and almost got done but then ran into a prob the adaptor that it somes with thats spose to connect to the maf that has 3 holes got the screw has one hole that will not line up with one of the screws has anyone ran into this problem with the volant? Oh and i got the powercore dry filter not the oily onei dont think it should matter cuz it just hte adaptor that connects the filter to the box and the MAF... 4 now i only got 2 of the 3 screws installed.... tnx 4 da help Edited April 7, 2008 by 10zin (see edit history) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I just put on a K&N and I don't remember if it was either a yea or na while locating the holes. That's all I can think of, or they sent the wrong kit but surly the bolt patterns are the same for all the chevys unless certain years changed some. Good Luck. Good Luck. they are spaced the same dont know y they wont fit im gona have to try again this weekend oh and the filter came with a sticker on the filter..... my bud told me not to take it off... something about failing inspection or something..... oh and my volant came with another sticker saying carb exempt or something.... and dont know where 2 put it where u all got urs? You need to rotate the MAF until all of the holes lineup. I initially thought I had a problem until I read a post on here somewhere. You will duh yourself later. That should help you align it...as far as the sticker on the filter I really don't know. The CARB sticker is your option to stick on somewhere, I didn't use the one that came with my K&N.
