NashSS
Gas sucks but what also sucks is we have no choice to buy it no matter what we drive. Driving something more economical will help but either way were still getting screwed. I don't know about everyone else but I don't fill my truck up I only put about 40-50 bucks in it at a time. 93 octane here is at 3.59 a gallon and 89 octane is 3.39 so for a 20cent difference I put 89 in my truck. I done it in the past and my truck runs just fine on it. I want to go buy a motorcycle.

We go in two different directions for our work, and get off at different times, plus picking up kids ect. I put $40-50 at a time in it and drive extremely conservatively. Hankg42
I tried to fill up in NJ on Sunday (where gas is as "cheap" as anywhere in the country), and the pump stopped at $75.00. That's the max they would allow on my Sunoco card. If that happens in other parts of the country where gas is really expensive, you'll be lucky to get 1/2 to 3/4 of a tank. SSThunder
Gas went up yesterday for some reason so 87 octane is $3.65, 89 is $3.75 or higher and 93 is $3.85 - $3.95 The price of oil is double what it should be.

That used to happen to me when I used my ATM card, but now that I'm using a regular CC I don't have that problem anymore.

That's what was so surprising about this. It was a Sunoco credit card at a Sunoco station!
Turbocoop
It keeps going up here now, average $3.75 a gallon for 93. I heard BP made like 14 billion in profit for the 1st quarter this year, I also heard in China its regulated by the govt. and no matter what it translates to $2.90 a gallon our cost. bastards
