haul@ss
Hey guys, I was wondering how a Vortech S/C would hold up in extremely cold weather. I live in Alaska where it can reach below zero temperatures... I'm guessing it should be fine because their are stock cars and trucks that come factory with s/c's n turbos but i just wanted to check. I don't plan on doing an extreme amount of mods and it will be used daily so are there any precautions or suggestions? TIA Edited May 1, 2008 by haul@ss (see edit history)
SS_bnoon_SS
I don't have one on the SS, but I had one on two of my daily drivers a while back and never had problems with them. One was a '96 S10SS, the other was a '99 Contour, both ran through northern midwest winters just fine. I was down to 80 below in northern Michigan snowmobiling, towing with the S10SS without issue.
