wody
i think i'll run the AEM in the summer and the K&N in the winter
12'SROCK
i think i'll run the AEM in the summer and the K&N in the winter also remeber that one is a dry filter and the other is oil. less of a mess, faster cleaning, better filtration Edited May 7, 2008 by 12'SROCK (see edit history)
12'SROCK
im gonna ask reynaldo to get me the same DATA logged for joes truck when he was tuning it since he has a volant, we just wont have hp/tq.
kelleyperformance
good info the airflow is a great and accurate comparison, but as far as the IATs go.... ehhhh Wow I dunno what I'm doing wrong, when it's 72-degrees out my Outlaw logs a 95-degree IAT at road speed and up to 140 idling. obviously the problem is you dont drive with your hood open and i expected better from you... SRT10KLLR
Art, that was cool that the guy dynoing his truck let you use his K&N since it was not part of the plan. I will be installing the turbo so no CAI in my future but at least I can install a drop in K&N for the meantime. If not for the dyno session I would never know I was driving around without a air filter.
12'SROCK
good info the airflow is a great and accurate comparison, but as far as the IATs go.... ehhhh when reynaldo gets a chance he can post up the IAT on the street with the hood closed on the AEM and the Volant so that way there can be a comparion between closed VS open box Edited May 7, 2008 by 12'SROCK (see edit history)

NTMD8R_SS
I also vote for this to be a sticky, Maybe Just the results and add other brands as they get tested?
