Nscott
Whats your opinion on it? I don't want to go with a custom tune right now because I just bought the truck and payed for warranty, so I'm gonna try not to blow my warranty that easy. http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=27001T Thanks, Neil
Fireman31
Your warranty is no problem if you keep the factory PCM. If you were to order a custom tuned PCM, you get charged a 'core' charge along with the tuning fee that gets refunded to you when you return the old PCM. In your case I would eat the core charge and keep the factory tuned PCM. This way if you have to take the truck in for warranty service all you have to do is pop the factory PCM back in......the dealer won't even know you have another tuned PCM. I did the same thing when I ordered my Wheatley tune ( ), I kept the original PCM just in case. Trust me, there is no comparison between handhelds and a custom tune. Custom tune FTW!
