smalltownguy
Hey guys i just got my LT pacesetters on and the stock plug wires touch the headers....so i think its about time to get new wires and plugs anyway and was wondering if anyone knew if the MSD #32829 (the ones for the SS) boot is longer and will protect the wires or any ideas what i should do as far as wires that work with long tubes? as of now i have the plug wires wraped with exhaust wrap haha just rigged up to not melt them for now
wody
topic has been brought up a lot recently, you should be able to bend the boots so they won't touch, or tie them out of the way.
Fireman31
Save yourself the trouble and get Taylor "409" 10.4mm wires. Yes the MSDs are bendable, but I still had a problem with boots touching my LTs (they would bend back). The Taylors cost about $5 more then the MSDs and have a much shorter boot, they have 0 issues clearing my LTs.
